Some basketball funsilly little cousins
A family day downtown to see Newsies.
Soccer friends and teammate. Now and in college.
Chase just trying to stay warm.

Dad's 60th trip

Keeping it real

Walks to school have been super icy. Nothing better than helping your sibling outs And proving to your parents that they really are teaching you something about kindness and being a good friend. They can be a handful but when we catch these moments of love, you can't help but be proud. Chase always shows his soft side around his little cousins and other little kids. He is so patient and helpful with them.
Indoor soccer is in full swing!

Blake was Joseph in his nativity reinactment at church. It was precious.
Who cares if it's snowy. Blake and Chase could spend all day in the snow!

Fun packed weekend

We got to celebrate my most favorite brothers birthday and check out some awesome ski jumps! We all squeezed in Goosebumps movie, 3 soccer games and 2 soccer practices. We also made it to church and enjoyed Noodles! Busy life but one full of love, friendship, activies, and fun!

Reese turned 9!

Reese turned nine this past November! I can't even believe sometimes how time flies. Reese had a little girly party at a local cupcake shop. The girls used a lot of frosting and candy to make some delicious and messy cupcakes!
Reese is such a happy girl. She is kind hearted and helpful. She does get sassy at times, like most little girls do, but she spends the majority of the time with a big smile on her face. She enjoys playing soccer and being silly with her brothers. She does a good job at school and does not like when she doesn't do well at something. She loves to read and start way too many books at one time. I am always so proud that teachers have positive things to say about Reese -- that she is a good role model. Hopefully she will continue to grow up as a leader with a positive attitude and a smile on her face!!

Chase is 7!

Time flies when you have kids. I think that should be the phrase people use. They are a constant reminder at how quickly time passes and how much can change in just a year.

Chase is 7! I can easily remember they day chase was born as he was our only child that decided it was time to come all on his own-- in the middle of the night. Chase is a sweet boy like no other. He loves to take care of his little cousins and makes an effort to make sure friends aren't left out. Maybe it has something to do with being a middle child.

Chase finished first grade with good grades. He enjoys going to school but would prefer school did not come with homework. He played basketball on the Bulls this year with Reese and coached by Ryan and another dad. He did ok but doesn't seem to like it as much as soccer. I coached his soccer team with coach Vito and he played with with his school friends. This year he will try out travel soccer and see if he can learn more that way and have a good experience.

Chase is still a stubborn kid but a special guy who is full of love.

Chase was excited to spend his birthday in Colorado playing laser tag, swimming, hitting up he arcade and hanging with some of his cousins.

Blake is Five

I have been a terrible blogger the last couple years and I really want to get back to it. I think it's so awesome to look back and see so much changes in such a short time! Like Blake! He just turned 5 and is such a big boy!!

Blake finished preschool as a reader. He picks up skills quickly watching Reese and Chase. He has a great buddy in class and his teachers always said how he is "the big man on campus" and is going to be a great student in Kindergarten. Speaking of Kindergarten, they now offer full day, which Blake is SO excited about and ready for. He thinks having a lunch box and eating lunch there will be amazing. I am worry about him getting tired! He goes hard and will just fall asleep. Maybe a bunch of early bedtimes in our future.

Blake smiles 90% of the time. He is just a happy kid and if he gets in trouble, he will frequently just back down and cry. He isn't perfect... turning 5 has made him think he knows more than he should sometimes. He can be a stinker.

Blake loves his siblings and all of his cousins. He is full of happiness anytime he is with them.

Blake is our early riser. He is up between 6am and 7:15am... usually too early! He wakes up, pops up and is ready to start the day.. which is usually too early for the rest of the house.

He is almost as tall as Chase and we get asked if they are twins. I think he is going to be the tallest one in the family.

Blake is so loveable! So glad he is ours.
