Bring on the BABES!

So, we have baby Noah here and Baby Staniak on the way in November... and then our friends Amie and Brian will be introducing Baby Berggren early February. They will all get to play together and be great friends like their parents. It's so exciting to share the journey with our wonderful friends... if only they lived closer. Then, who knows... maybe a few months later there will be another baby joining the party (wink wink). What a huge step in all our lives, but what am amazing one!

Week 28 - Went to the doctor yesterday... all seems to be going great. The doctor said we were right on track and everything looks good. Baby Staniak has found a love for my right ribs. Always kicking in that area. I now get to go to the doctor every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then it's every week! Time is going by fast. I can't believe we will meet our little one soon!

Week 27- Mom and Dad to be are getting more excited to meet their little squirt. Mom to be can no longer fit into her regualr clothes... she is officially in maternity land!

August 13, 2006 - Here's baby Noah! Sabrina, Mark, Ryan, Noah, and I went to Door County for a little trip before the baby. It was a nice relaxing weekend. We painted pottery, checked out the shops and walked around.

Jonathan and Jen's Wedding!

July 29, 2006- Jonathan and Jen were married. It was a wonderful day and everything was beautiful. I fit in my dress and that was a relief. Baby Staniak will now have another aunt!

Week 24- Moving right along... Ryan has been feeling the baby move and I feel the baby all the time. It's so amazing. We surely have a very active baby. Sometimes, at night, Ryan wonders if the baby is doing tae bo in there. The baby is active just like it's mom. We took the glucose test this week and it seems that everything is good!

Week 19- Here's our baby. We decided we did not want to find out the sex... the baby didn't want to show off his/her privates anyway!

My belly is really starting to grow. I am still fitting into my regular clothes and have kept up the exercise since the start. I am putting on some pounds, but it's all for a good cause!
On June 15th, I was sitting at work and felt a little tap tap. It shocked me. Was it really our baby trying to say hello? The taps were followed by some odd vibrations. I was so excited, but not sure if it really was the baby. I felt it again a couple days later and within a week, I was sure I was feeling the little one! What a great feeling. It puts a HUGE smile on my face every time there is movement.

Mother's Day

May 14, 2006 - Mother's Day - We broke the news to Ryan's parents. We told Pops by giving him a Christmas ornament. He always said that he wouldn't put up a tree until he had a grandchild. He was very excited.
We told MomJill with a picture frame. It said "Great Moms get promoted to Grandma!" She had to read it a few time and looked at us a little confused, but we let her know that he thoughts were correct. She, too, was very happy!

Spilling the beans!

On April 25th, 2006 (11 weeks) - we went to the doctor to hear the heartbeat. We waited until this time to tell anyone about our little one on the way. It was very hard to keep this all a secret, but we were nervous and just wanted to make sure everything was ok. The visit to the doctor was a success and we heard the thumping of out little one's heart. It was so comforting to hear.
The same day we shared the news with my family. They were overjoyed and a little disappointed we waited so long to share. My mom gave the greatest reaction. She was so thrilled. She almost tackled me with the biggest hug ever. Everyone is happy for us!
At this point the first trimester is almost over. I have felt great and can't complain at all. I did have a couple weeks of feeling icky, extremely tired and going to the bathroom a million times a day, but I know if these are my only complaints, I know I am very lucky.

On March 26th, the first baby in the family was born (on his Uncle Ryan's Birthday)! NOAH JAMES entered the world and is so adorable and so precious. Sabrina and Mark are great parents and Noah is amazing. I am his godmother and am so proud of him. He makes huge strides every day. He will grow up with baby Staniak and they will be great friends!

Mommy and Daddy To Be

On March 16th we took our first visit to the doctor's office. The tests confirmed we were going to be parents! The next day we left for a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean with our friends Jordan and Lee (this pic is from their wedding, July 1st, 2006- 20 weeks). We had a great time. When we returned from our cruise we went to the doctor on March 30th and confirmed with an ultrasound that we for sure had a baby growing in there! We saw the little heart beat. What an amazing feeling. We couldn't stop smiling.
