Our Standard Wednesday

So, it's Wednesday, and I am on "duty." The kids are behaving for the most part ;)
Reese is trying out new places to hang out (in a Tupperware), Noah is watching the landscapers outside, and Avery is following their lead. The day has stayed pretty calm, and I think 3 months from now, the 3 amigos will be ready to add a fourth into their group!

Speaking of #4, I went to the doctor yesterday and heard the heartbeat. We are 26 weeks along already... so close, yet so far away! I am getting bigger but am still feeling great!

What a Day!

Our friends, Erin and Jonathan, had their baby today. A baby girl!! Ellison (Elle). We are so happy for them. Check out their blog link on the left to see a picture of the doll! She is a keeper.

Also, I am 25 weeks along. I am feeling like I am getting so close, but know there is a ways to go. This baby has been one active little machine tonight. (S)He is moving up a storm... I can even watch the baby move from the outside of my belly. It's crazy!! I think the baby is excited that a new friend entered the world today. As the weeks pass, my belly keeps growing away. Maybe I will kind enough to share this large belly with all of you in a picture tomorrow- and some pictures of Reese too.

Speaking of Reese, she is wonderful as always. She is really attempting to say so many words. She is smart as can be and so full of energy. If she could run around in circles all day long, I am sure she would! She really makes life so joyful.

That's all for tonight... more tomorrow!

Sorry that this video is sideways, but Ryan sometimes forgets that he has to keep the camera the other way. Anyway, Reese got this awesome Barbie bike for her Birthday and is finally putting it to use. We tried it outside 2 weeks ago and she was terrified of it. Now that she got to try it out in the house, with the help of her daddy, she is a champ! Look at her go! (Watch out walls, here comes Reese)

Super Sunday!

Sunday started out with the first visit to our new home from the Staniak/Hirsch family. We hung out and had a bbq. It was great fun to show them our new place and have some family bonding time. In other HUGE news, my baby sister is engaged and I couldn't be more excited for her. Carissa and Dave are prefect for each other and I know they will have a beautiful wedding and wonderful life together. Congrats to Carissa and Dave. Dave, welcome to the fam!

A cure for the rainy day blues

These are some silly pics taken by Ryan a couple weeks ago. They are so cute and fun not to share! April showers bring May flowers... right?

Warm Weather Fun

We decided to take advantage of the wonderful weather this past weekend and headed over to the local little zoo. It was free, and not very animal packed, but we thought it was perfect. (Ryan even had to place a small donation since he thought it was well worth our short visit). Grandma joined us and we saw some ducks, pigs, goats, sheep, a baby lamb, llama, hawk, horses, and cows. Reese's favorite was the one lonely mallard duck. We enjoyed the weather and are sure to go back!

A Little Outing.

(Warning: If you are a blog hopper, you may know this scoop from the Connelly's blog)
We went to the Dupage Children's Museum with the kiddies yesterday since Sabrina is on spring break. It was great and the kid's had so much fun. Reese "ran out of gas" around 11:30, but made it until 12:00 and took a 3 hour nap when she got home. The place was great fun!
Here are some pics...

Avery had such a good time exploring the place.

Noah making himself at home in this little house.
"Peek-a-boo" This is as far as Reese and Noah got in this thing... chickens!
Big bubbles... Reese didn't want the soap in her eyes! :)
"I am getting very sleepy..."
Baby Update (22 weeks): I went to the doctor on Tuesday and got to hear the heartbeat. So far, so good! We are making great progress and I feel the baby move all the time. (Even Ryan has felt the baby move, so it's great!) I am getting quite the belly. My favorite part of being pregnant is feeling it. It's just so much fun!
