Rolling Over... Big Laughs... and Check Out These Pics!

So, let's see... Chase rolled over from his back to his belly today. It's the second time and I am sure it will continue to get easier for him! He has also been laughing... Ryan and I have both gotten him to give us a big laugh. It's just the cutest thing! Lastly, check out these pics. Reese at 3 months, and then Chase. Is he not just the boy version? Their mouths are almost exactly alike!

The weekend is quite the busy one... we will report on that later.

So Much to be Thankful For

*Cheezy post alert*

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I thought I would take this chance to say that I am very thankful for the life that God has given us. We are blessed with amazing parents, the best friends in siblings anyone could ever ask for (and we officially add one more in just over 2 weeks!!), fantastic children, a super hilarious niece, the smartest nephew (and two more wonderful babies on the way), kind and lifelong friends... a roof over our head, food to eat... Our lives are overflowing with greatness. Some days are exhausting and there is so much stress and frustration in our life, yet I don't let it get me down because I know that our lives are so filled with joy and happiness.

Sometimes people think I am a bit nutty for always trying to see the good in everything, for letting things just go, for always being happy... The truth is, I am just overwhelmed daily with the blessings in my life. I figure that things can be worse and that the people who I continue to stay close with, grow with, and learn from will always be there for me and I will be there for them. Thanks to my family and friends... you are the best!

P.S. I didn't forget about my great and loving husband. I can't quite explain to all of you just how wonderful he is... but I am thankful for his love and friendship every day.

Week Recap

Here's Little Miss Naughty one morning last week. Don't you just love her high pony?

Chase is working the exersaucer these days! He does enjoy it... a change of position and a change of scenery.
Look that face! What a doll! She loves to play with blankets... Hide-Go-Seek.

Cute little Avery when we made cookies last week.
Here are the delicious cookies we made and decorated. They may not have been so pretty, BUT Ryan and the kids loved them.
Noah doesn't love veggies, but I got him to eat some broccoli "trees." It was fun!
Saturday we had our first Thanksgiving at Sabrina's, The food was SO good. We also went to a tree lighting, watched my mom play the piano, saw Santa, saw fireworks... it was great fun.
Avery was a little scared of the loud fireworks, but she was ok by her mommy!
Noah and Reese weren't to sure about the fireworks, but overall they enjoyed them.More fun... Dave, open your eyes! Are you scared like Avery?

Super cute Chase letting out a little scream and showing off lots of smiles! video

2 Posts in 2 days!

This little one came home today from Auntie Sabrina's with more energy than anyone could imagine. I am telling you... the girl would not stop talking. She was just a ball of energy. She wanted daddy to swing her in circles and then she had trouble walking since she was dizzy. I am not going to lie, it was hilarious to watch. She just wanted to do it over and over. She is doing pretty fabulous with the potty. She isn't completely trained yet, but we are getting closer. She has been great at telling us if she has to go #2. #1 has caused a few accidents lately and trying to get her to make it through the night has been a challenge. Some nights she does great while others she can't make it. I know she will get there soon.
Oh, and you should see this girl with her vanity. She has all her clips and hair accessories on it and she brushes her hair and plays with it. Hilarious. She got a little tea set from my friend Jodi and that also seems to be quite the hit. She pours us 100 cups of coffee a day (too bad I don't like coffee).

Well, the cold weather is here and I have been so anxious to get this hat out. It's Noah's old hat and it was my favorite! Here is a picture of Chase modeling it for all of you. He will be nice and toasty now! He has been fabulous lately. He doesn't cry all that often and sleeps at night like a pro. Now we just have to get some sort of sleeping schedule during the day and he will be set!
This picture is hilarious to me. Reese being all silly and Chase wondering what the heck is going on... a typical moment in the Staniak house!

Ladies Night!

Last night we had Carissa's bachelorette party. We ate, drank, had a "toy" party, and went out. We thought we would love the country dancing but the peeps were way too hardcore. Carissa and I did attempt a few dances... and had fun trying. We will get our groove on again soon in less than a month... it's right around the corner! Here are a few pictures from our super fun ladies night.
Our lovely bachelorette.
Sabrina and Jen.
Carissa had a scavenger hunt at the bar and she did it all... got a girl to buy her a drink, a guy to buy her a shot, dedicated a song to her husband to be (Carrie Underwood- Before He Cheats), slow danced with an old guy... the list goes on. Here she is crossing another one off, dancing on the stage.
Here's the group before we headed out.
All decked out!
Carissa and Kristen playing a sassy game.
Sabrina and Carissa at the beginning of the night. Playing some Drinkalicious (compliments of Ryan).

Happy 2nd Birthday Party!

Reese had her 2nd Birthday party this past Saturday. It was great fun for her and I was so excited to get the house all ready for her Pinkalicious birthday. We tried to make the appetizers pink (strawberries and pink fruit dip, cream cheese and salsa dip, the famous Jen salsa, pink candy...) and then the treats too, and pink punch... can't forget that! I think the party was a success. Reese was so excited that we couldn't even get her to take a nap. Thank you to everyone for coming and helping make Reese's 2nd Birthday party a hit. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the gifts... the girl made out!

Reese did a great job opening the gifts. She has a great present face. She was quite slow, but Noah helped her out, so it didn't take all night!
After we all sang happy birthday to Reese, she sang to herself too! She also told us all the princesses names on her cake...including "CinderBella!" Her finger was in her cake while we sang. The girl loves her sweets.
Happy Birthday to our Reese-Poo!
Grandpops supplied the pinata. Reese and Noah had a great time trying to wack the thing, but most of the work was done by Ryan. Grandpops did an amazing job with the pink unicorn, to the pink stick, and the amazing toys and treats inside!
Here is the pinata!
Here is Reese and her Pinkalicious cupcake wrapped gift. (Good work, Auntie Carissa)
This was Reese getting ready in the morning. Can you see the excitement all over her face! :)
Reese got a doll house... and let me tell you, she loves it!! It's so amazing. I never had anything so impressive when I was a kid! It has a kitchen with a phone that rings and an oven that buzzes like it's done! Uncle Jonathan did a great job playing doll house with Reese.
Reese got this vanity from Uncle Jason. She is already going to her vanity in the morning and at night to get ready for the day and to get ready for bed. It's so cute.Reese got many wonder gifts... a wagon, clothes, barbie, tiger (the thing is crazy! It looks like it's real), books, games, hair accessories, winter accessories... I can't even name them all! She really made out. Thanks again everyone! I have so many more pics. Maybe I will post more on her real Birthday this Friday!

3 Months Old

Our little baby is 3 months old! I can't believe it's been that long. It seems like Chase has been in our lives forever, yet it seems like only weeks ago that he was born. Time sure flies. So, at 3 months Chase is a lot happier, he stays up a lot longer, he sleeps through the night, eats 5 times a day, smiles, "talks" a little, is pretty great at tummy time, kind of tries to laugh, and is just a great baby. He doesn't mind too much when Reese or his cousins are in his face, and he is into 6 month + clothes! He's a big boy, like Reese was a big girl, but he is healthy and so lovable!
