Reese's 6th Birthday Party

Reese had her birthday party on her actual Birthday (which fell on a Wednesday). She had been requesting Jumps and Jiggles and they didn't have any weekend days open. Plus, our weekends in November have been crazy busy! So, she rounded up her cousins, her soccer team, and her closest friends for another Birthday to remember. The party spot was awesome! You can bring in your own food, there is one fee (not a per person fee), and it has a huge McDonald's like playland and carousel. The kids played hard for 2 hours and the night was a success! Thanks to everyone for making her day so special.

Reese and Avery. I like to consider them like Sisters. They are so lucky to have each other.

And the newest girl to the group, Quinn, who will be joining the "sisters" in the girl craziness as she gets older. Look out Jen!

This is a silly crazy purse Reese got from Grandma Janet and Papa. I show this picture because this pure excitement and happiness is the joy she had with every gift she opened! It was precious.

Reese is 6!!

Reese had an awesome day! Turning 6 was pretty darn amazing and it was so much fun to see the pure joy in every second. Daddy took her to get donuts in the morning and she got to deliver some which was so fun. She brought coloring felt pages to her classmates and Ryan picked her up from school with balloons. She was beyond happy. Her party was the greatest-- because her cousins and soccer team were all there. She showed major excitement opening every gift! Happy Birthday to Reese. She is one special lady.

Happy Halloween

This Halloween was even more fun than the last and the kids were super excited for it. The day started with Chase going to preschool and having his class party. He came home with a bag of treats. Then Reese went to school and I got to help her class. We did a project and they had a school parade that actually went past our house. We then trick or treated with our friends, the Burke's in our neighborhood and then headed to Jonathan and Jen's. We had such a great time seeing all the cousins and hanging out and even did some more trick or treating. It was a pretty awesome day. The kids loved every second of it and didn't get tired at all. Blake struggled to keep the pace of the others but he never quit and Reese and Chase were so good to wait up for him and take him to each door so he didn't have to go at it alone. They are so sweet sometimes.
We went with the superhero theme this yeah.
Ryan - Flash (thanks to my dad for the costume. Ryan looked awesome!)
Me- Mrs. Captain America. It was kind of thrown together but it worked.
Reese - Super Girl
Chase- Batman
Blake - Robin ("Robber" in his words. He has put his costume on almost every day since we got it a month before Halloween)
Now we are loaded with candy!

Last Fall Soccer Game for Team Purple

I have had so much fun coaching the Reese's soccer team. We probably ended the season like 2-5-1 maybe? But it was a blast and there are great kids and great parents. We play again in the spring with the same kids so that will be a good time. Reese did a decent job. She's not afraid to go for the ball and really seems to enjoy it. With 2 practice and a game each week, you would think she would get bored or complain, but she has loved it. Here are some pictures of the kids in action!
Everyone gets a turn playing goalie. Look at those hops!

And some of the great cheering team - they love playing with all the siblings from the team and keeping Ryan busy!
