Oh Happy Days

I am behind. I am slacking at my blogging and my picture taking and it makes me sad. Time just gets away from me and I need to get on track. I need to capture all these memories and I need to print this blog. Add it to the list. Lists-- my friends, the lists... they are the only way I can keep my head straight. This is just the beginning too-- each year there will be more soccer, more dance, more sports, more religious classes. Bring it. We can handle it, as long as my eye stops twitching. It's been twitching for 2 weeks. It's making me crazy.

Reese is enjoying Girl Scouts. This was from the Disco Dance. She just loves being with friends. She loved selling cookies. Reese is playing indoor soccer and doing dance class. She seems to enjoy it all for now.
Blake is just Blake. His speech is getting better. He still needs to work on articulation but it's getting better every day. He is still overly in love with his Mom and climbs in my bed to snuggle between 4-6 each morning. He snuggles me and as annoying as it is, I kind of embrace it. He's my baby and won't be doing it much longer.
Chase is playing soccer and loving it. He seems to do quite well at this point, but he's with younger kids so we will see how it goes. I am already thinking about coaching his team or at least helping in the fall. Am I crazy?
After I hurt my ankle in the first week of indoor, I thought I was done for, but it's feeling great and I am playing again. I love playing! It's great exercise and I love playing with my siblings. Now, I updated my blog... it's weak, but it's an update... what's next on my list...

Chase Buddy

Chase is 4 1/2 today! Kids love being that extra half a year old. It's the coolest thing ever. In fact, Reese just noticed the date and told Chase it was his half birthday. Woo hoo! Chase is a bundle of joy. 90% of the time he is happy, helpful, and full of joy. That 10% of the time when he is a stinker is normally when I am putting him to bed and he fights it or when he is asking for a snack... mostly because he is bored. (It's not like he is starved.) He complains about getting ready for school but he goes happily and seems to enjoy it.

Chase is in a soccer class now and LOVES it. He runs around the entire time and loves for his whole family to come and watch. He is always looking over at us and giving a bit smile. He feels like a superstar.
Chase LOVES babies. He loves to help and make them smile. He is always giving kisses.
Helping give Charlie his bottle.
Chase loves to dress up and loves to play with his brother and sister. They are not always playing like perfect angels (there is a lot of wresting that goes on), but most of the time is just playing.
Chase's people have really improved. He loves to draw. I also had him write his letters the other day and he one got stuck on a couple. He's making great progress. He's a smart cookie.
Chase was sick a couple weeks ago. He was quite mellow and miserable, but he recovered and is his peppy self again. We love our Chase Buddy.
